Outbound Activities of Bachelor of Public Administration Students, Rembang Campus

In increasing the intimacy between students of the Bachelor of Public Administration Rembang Campus, HMPSAPR (Rembang Public Administration Student Association) conducted Outbound activities in Candimulyo Village in 2022. Outbound is one of the learning methods that is carried out through experiential learning. The form of activities is the application of light games. each game in outbound activities contains deep, philosophical meaning, and is full of symbolic messages that are useful as well as building character towards success in life, both success at the individual level and team/group success. The outbound method is the most effective in accommodating the demands of the training results. This method is effective in establishing an understanding of a concept and building individual character behaviour. The character will be embedded and will become a better individual.

This activity was attended by students between generations. The purpose of this outbound is to foster self-confidence to provide a self-therapy process (for those with disorders) in communication, and cause mutual understanding, to create mutual trust between others. Outbound itself prioritizes game activities that can foster participants’ motivation. Usually, the pattern of games held involves cooperation between teams or each individual itself, training the mind and physical activities that have positive elements. Therefore, outbound is the right choice for everyone in self-development training that is fun and interesting and not boring. This activity is carried out as one of the media to establish friendships, get to know each other and get closer between students. In this activity, a session of intimacy and fun games between students is carried out to create a synergy and cohesiveness between students between generations which in the future will become one of the supporting forces in promoting the university.

Not only outbound activities are carried out in 1 place but also a village tour. The purpose is to introduce the tourism potential of the place where the outbound activity is carried out which is also a promotional medium for those who come from outside Rembang. Thus, they can introduce the existing potential of the village.
